Culinary Arts - Part 1
This is a three part course that will offer learners a well rounded knowledge base if they are considering a career in the food industry. It offers insight and understanding of the history and development of culinary arts. Learners explore basic science principles used in cooking and various cooking methods, menu planning, food presentation and service styles. This series also includes information on culinary career opportunities and management skills.
Culinary Arts Part 1 consists of lessons on the food service industry, kitchen tools and safety and culinary basics like food science and preparation.
